In France the breed is described as the "Diablotin Moustachu" or moustached little devil. They are actually part of the pinscher-schnauzer. They weigh around 3 to 4 kgs. They grow upto 30 cm. It is wiry-haired terrier. Its coat is shaggier over the head and shoulders forming a mane, with shorter coat over the back and hind quarters.
